If you click on the member's name under their avatar, you'll see 'start conversation'

Thanks. It would appear that this feature isn't present on every ones profile. For example if I click on Steve's ( Crincklystarfish ) icon the message feature isn't visible.

Maybe he didn't tick a box on setup or is just being antisocial

Correct Neil, Steve has set his settings that way. If he requests it, happy to change it, but those are his chosen privacy settings.
